Now we know we said that ideally what makes a good beach towel is one that is 100% cotton, but we are prepared to give change a chance, as this beach towel is actually made of microfiber, which is much lighter than the other cotton towels in this review.
This has obvious advantages. It will take up less space in your precious beach bag, and it will dry an awful lot quicker than the heavier cotton, yet it absorbs like a good ‘un.
Also, this design has a handy pouch, into which the towel can be folded. This can also be used to store essentials such as sun cream, cell phones etc. whilst you are out and about at the beach.
If the XL size is a little too large, this comes in the handy and slightly smaller, large size as well.

This is fairly thin, but makes a good body wrap for the beach, and washes up fine in a domestic washer/ dryer AS LONG AS you remember to set it on cold.
The colors are vibrant and bold, and the design intricate and pretty. Beach Baby likes this a lot, but started to feel it was maybe perhaps a shade too nice to subject to the heat and sand of the beach.

Finally we have these gorgeous things. With all the colors of the rainbow on display, the first word Beach Baby has to impart to you is yarn dyed. Well, that’s two words actually.
But this towel has been yarn dyed, as opposed to other dye methods, which is supposedly meant to enhance the quality of the garment in the long term. In other words, it is better.
When even the (very few) negative reviews are saying that they ‘loved these towels’, it’s probably a bit hard to go wrong here.
The manufacturers even have the cheek to suggest that this beach towel is so luxuriant that you may even be able to use it for bath times. This would usually be beach towel heresy, but in this case, perhaps we can make an exception!

The bottom of the towel is made of nylon so the sand won’t stick to it. The top layer is made of a cotton terrycloth that feels incredibly soft and luxurious.
This amazing towel also features a n internal waterproof layer that prevents water from seeping through and also catches sand.
