Some might say – “Why snorkel?”  Snorkelling is like underwater sightseeing, and it’s the kind of activity where, if you do it once, you can easily become obsessed with it, because the sights down there are so stunning!

Whether you want to snorkel for a specific reason, like looking at beautiful fish, corals, checking out sunken treasure and / or artifacts, or maybe you just want to try it for fun, snorkelling is both educational and stress-relieving for those who try it.

Also, norkelling is great for all age groups, because unlike scuba diving, your aim isn’t to dive very deep.

In fact, if you want to stay on the safe side, or have a fear of being underwater, many snorkellers stay right near the surface and simply look down at what’s below.  Some people would rather not submerge their bodies fully, and that’s quite common to see.

At the same time, other snorkellers do dive down a few meters to get a closer look at the underwater life.
